New in 2011, is Camp Roc-a-Hoo! Situated in the northern portion of the Otter Creek Horse Trail System, this unique rustic retreat features modern maple kitchen with dinette open to living room with corner stone fireplace; master suite with two extra long twin beds, modern bath with laundry facilities, built in daybed, double-sized futon in front of fireplace plus a covered porch, stone patio and firepit
overlooking three acres of pines.
Horse accommodations feature large covered stalls with attached paddocks. Saddle up and enjoy a day of riding on sand based trails designed for horse use. Ride to Payne Lake where you and your horse can take a cool drink or enjoy a picnic overlooking the Independence River.
This truly unique property is fully equipped for you and your horse. Locally grown grass hay is available for $6/bale for your stay at our horse camps. Please allow a minimum 1 week notice for delivery. Payment is due upon check in for your order.
Easy trailer access on blacktop road plus circular driveway to prevent the need for backing!
Rates:
$65/night/guest including one horse with a 2 night minimum, 4 person maximum.
Weekly rate $400/guest including your horse.
For a truly dream summer, consider additional weeks or stay the entire season. Full season rates available upon request.
