Have you been dreaming about a private horse camp all to yourself, set in tall pines at the base of the picturesque Adirondack Mountains?

New in 2011, is Camp Roc-a-Hoo! Situated in the northern portion of the Otter Creek Horse Trail System, this unique rustic retreat features modern maple kitchen with dinette open to living room with corner stone fireplace; master suite with two extra long twin beds, modern bath with laundry facilities, built in daybed, double-sized futon in front of fireplace plus a covered porch, stone patio and firepit overlooking three acres of pines. Roc A Hoo features DirecTV with premium movie channels plus unlimited internet.

Horse accommodations feature large covered stalls with attached paddocks. Saddle up and enjoy a day of riding on sand based trails designed for horse use. Ride to Payne Lake where you and your horse can take a cool drink or enjoy a picnic overlooking the Independence River.

This truly unique property is fully equipped for you and your horse. Locally grown grass hay is available for your stay at our horse camps. Please allow a minimum 1 week notice for delivery. Payment is due upon check in for your order.

Easy trailer access on blacktop road plus circular driveway to prevent the need for backing!

$70/night/per guest includes one horse with a two night, two person minimum, four person maximum. Weekly rate per guest is $440 and includes horse of course.

All reservations require a 50% non refundable deposit due no later than February 15th of the same year as the reservation. Deposits not received by that date will be cancelled. Balance is due upon arrival. Reservations made after Feb 15th of the same year will be held for 2 weeks until deposit arrives.
